Highlights from this week
-Met up with some cool people that actually live in my city (as opposed to 2 hours away from me)
-Had my first parent’s class and I’m slightly excited/hopeful about the upcoming lessons.
-Started ballet again
-Learned some new powerpoint tricks
-A 5th grader shat in 3 different bathroom sinks yesterday
yes one of these things is not like the others….
Few shots from my GEPIK orientation in Yangpyeong earlier this week. Learned some slightly useful things, met some weirdo, and got a little sick from the food. The atmosphere during orientation was a little like being in high school where some people felt they needed to assert their seniority over the newer teachers. Despite the cliques, I did meet some girls who lived near me which was nice since most people don’t know where the hell Guri is…
Also it was a dry orientation so no alcohol meant we had to find other more PG-13 ways to entertain ourselves. So I gorged myself on candy and played 200 games of ping pong.
